Happy news! We’ve signed a contract with TUTL Records for our debut album and we’re very excited about the collaboration!

We’re very happy and proud to have been selected for a showcase at Nordic Folk Alliance 2022, that will take place in Göteborg, Sweden 20-22 April 2022. We’ll be performing in trio format. Looking very much forward to this!!

Yesterday we were supposed to start rehearsing on the Faroe Islands for the recording of our debut album. Unfortunately some close family members got ill and the best solution was to postpone the recording to August. The time just wasn’t right now. This is a golden opportunity to keep finetuning all the details and getting the music even more under the skin. Onwards!!

The Klingra band has grown out of the band Afenginn and become a separate little baby. Afenginn has been going since 2002 and has developed quite a musically from the first albums. In 2019 we released an album called “Klingra” (meaning circle in Faroese), which was a collaboration with a bunch of Faroese musicians.
