New video out!

We have a new single out! It’s called “eitt minni” (a memory) and is the second single from our upcoming album. Here’s a little background:

Among the oldest forms of fishing is handline fishing, which is a technique where a fishing line is held in the hands (without a fishing rod) and the baited hooks are attached to the lines. This way of fishing has probably been practised on the Faroe Islands since the first people settled there hundreds and hundreds of years ago. Fishing very much hands on from small boats, locally around the many islands in the cold waters of the North Atlantic. 

Our single Í fyrstuni has been out for a couple of weeks now and now the music video to the track is also out! It’s a video where the pictures slowly evolve and the lyrics appear in Faroese. On YouTube you can also turn on the subtitles to get it translated.

Break out the champagne! The first single from our upcoming album is now released on all digital platforms. It’s called Í fyrstuni (In the Beginning) and is also the opening track from the album.

Last week we had a wonderfully busy week here in the group. We played three shows on the Faroe Islands and got another step deeper into the whole production - adding visuals and generally working on the concepts and details. Although the music is ready and recorded and we’ve really done a lot of effort making the best album we could, the live part is always a different story. Constantly evolving and finding new ways depending on the venue and the mood and many other factors.
