Release tour
We’re very excited to announce the release tour in support of our upcoming album …eftir. We’ll be hitting the road in a few weeks and we’re looking forward to performing in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Faroe Islands.
April, come she will…
Good things come to those who wait. Our album …eftir was due to be released today, but has been postponed until the 14th of April. We’ve been struck by unforeseen circumstances, such as time moving faster than expected and we wanted to get a few more things in place, before releasing our baby. But April 14th is the date!
Last single out!
The fifth and last of the single releases is now out on all streaming platforms. If the spirit moves you, go and check it out where you usually stream your music!
We’ve come to the end of the singles before the full album “…eftir” will be released on February 22nd. It’s called Ein endurspegling (A Reflection) and is also the closing track on the album. The single version is a fair bit shorter though, as it lacks all the outro strings and pedal steel elegy in the end.
New Year - new music!
As the new year kicks off, we’re also ready with new music for y’all. Fourth single out now!
We’ve reached 2023 and it will be an exciting year for our little collective here in Klingra. In a not so distant future, around 7 weeks from now, we’ll be releasing our debut album.
Third single out!
The third single from our upcoming album is out on all digital platforms. It’s called Trøllslig ró (Ghostly Peace). Trøllslig ró is the last track in Part 1 on the album. This version that is now available is a slightly shorter edit, to fit the single format a bit better.
About radio, telegrams, teapots and elderly Faroese men
A couple of months ago we were interviewed in the Faroese national radio about our music and the new album. In between the song “eitt minni” (a Memory) was sent on air and we talked about the background of it, Færingehavnen (the Faroese harbour in Greenland) and the past times. This seemed to have resonated with many people and the hours and days after we kept getting calls and being stopped in town from people that had something to share from this time. One of these calls came from a community house in a smaller village, where the community gathers every morning to have coffee and sort out the world situation.
